Recently, CSSC Engine, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, successfully signed the main engine order for the world's first methanol dual-fuel PCTC (car carrier) "2+4 9300 vehicles" project.
The S60ME-C10.5-LGIM-EGRBP main engine order signed by CSSC Engine and China Merchants Industry is another batch of methanol main engine orders after the 6G50ME-C9.6-LGIM+EGR project of Guangzhou Shipbuilding International.
CSSC Engine's hand-held methanol dual-fuel engine orders will be delivered to customers in the second half of 2024. It is the earliest low-speed engine manufacturer in China with continuous and batch delivery capabilities. The company actively responds to and promotes the transformation and development of the power equipment industry, and has a full range of production and manufacturing service capabilities in the fields of LNG, methanol and other green, environmentally friendly, and low-carbon engines.
Under the traction of the national "dual carbon" strategy, the signing of the methanol dual-fuel engine project is actively promoted by the central enterprise and the strong alliance is an important cooperation for the development of "green ships".
